All the G1 My Little Pony Collectables and Their Newer Versions

On this page you will find the original six My Little Pony collectible toys (G1, or Generation 1) and how to get them on Amazon and eBay. We’ve also included the 35th Anniversary Edition ponies, brand new.

My Little Pony is a toy line developed by the American toy company Hasbro. It mainly consists of ponies featuring colorful bodies, manes and a unique symbol on one or both sides of their flanks. The line ran from 1982 to 1995 and was accompanied by two animated specials, an animated feature-length film, and two animated television series. The toy line was revived in 2010 with the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Butterscotch is a G1 My Little Pony originally released in 1982. She came as a Flat Foot Pony – all the flat foot ponies are smaller in size then the rest of the collectors pose ponies. The pose is Collectors Pose, with a yellow body, golden-brown hair, golden-brown eyes and seven orange butterflies as the symbol/cutie mark. Butterscotch came with a pink original comb and a pink ribbon.

    UK Factfile story:

For as long as anyone can remember Butterscotch has always won Ponyland’s Annual Gymnkhana. She’s fast and nimble, strong and exceptionally athletic – over the hedges and fallen tree trunks, round the toadstools and through the gate to finish.

Blue Belle is a G1 My Little Pony originally released in 1983. She came as a Flat Foot Pony – all the flat foot ponies are smaller in size then the rest of the collectors pose ponies. The pose is Collectors Pose, with a blue body, purple hair, periwinkle eyes and a cluster of twelve periwinkle stars as the symbol/cutie mark. Blue Belle came with a white original comb and a white ribbon. In the 1983 Sears Christmas catalog this pony was named “Belle”.

    UK Factfile story:

Blue Bell loves to explore the woods to find the first bluebells of Spring. She treads daintily through the bushes and pushes the leaves away until she smells the delicious perfume of her favourite flowers – ah! Lovely!

Butterscotch is a G1 My Little Pony originally released in 1983 (although her hoof says 1983). She came as a Flat Foot Pony – all the flat foot ponies are smaller in size then the rest of the collectors pose ponies. The pose is Collectors Pose, with a green body, white hair, blue eyes and a cluster of eleven dark green clovers as the symbol/cutie mark. Butterscotch came with a pink original comb and a pink ribbon.

Minty has never had any animated appearances, nor was she in the UK comic books. She does have an entry in the UK fact file, where her body is incorrectly colored purple

Snuzzle is a G1 My Little Pony originally released in 1983, although her hoof says 1982. She came as a Flat Foot Pony – all the flat foot ponies are smaller in size then the rest of the collectors pose ponies. The pose is Collectors Pose, with a grey body, pink hair, blue eyes and a cluster of pink hearts as the symbol/cutie mark. Snuzzle came with a blue original comb and a blue ribbon.

    UK Factfile story:

If ever a pony were a little bit sad or lonely, Snuzzle would be the first to notice and go over and nuzzle her head against theirs. Soon they would cheer up and start to laugh and smile again.

Butterscotch is a G1 My Little Pony originally released in 1982. She came as a Flat Foot Pony – all the flat foot ponies are smaller in size then the rest of the collectors pose ponies. The pose is Collectors Pose, with a pink body, pink hair, lavender eyes and forty white spots as the symbol/cutie mark (probably meant to represent an appaloosa pattern). Cotton Candy came with a purple original comb and a purple ribbon.

    UK Factfile story:

Cotton Candy loves sweet things; sweet nectar from the flowers, sweet honey from the bees, sweet grass from the valley. However, she is also a bit lazy and tries to find her treats a little too close to home. Blossom’s flower garden is always a tempting place to grab a snack.
